Dr. B. Tasleyma Sattar
Dr. Sattar received her medical degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She is a dedicated osteopathic physician and believes in treating the whole person, not just symptoms. She completed her residency in Family Medicine at Palmetto General Hospital in Hialeah, FL where she served as Chief Resident. She enjoys teaching students and currently is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at UNTHSC/TCOM in Fort Worth, TX. Dedicated to improving healthcare on all fronts, Dr. Sattar is also actively involved in research. Her current research interests concern the health disparities affecting North Texans in the areas of cardiovascular health and vitamin deficiencies.
